Image to Poetry (referred to as “the site” or “we”) values your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use image understanding, poetry matching, and poster creation; why it is processed; and how it is retained and shared.
1. Scope
This policy applies to imagetopoetry.com and its related image-to-poetry services. You can use the site without registering or signing in, and we do not actively ask for your name, phone number, or account details.
2. Information we process
Images you choose
When you choose an image and start a search, it is uploaded from your browser to our server. The server validates its format and size and creates an analysis copy with a longest edge of no more than 1,600 pixels to understand the scene and match poetry.
Essential technical information
For security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation, servers, network providers, and hosting infrastructure may process necessary access logs such as request time, request ID, IP address, browser or device type, and response status.
3. How information is used
- Understand the subjects, season, weather, and overall mood of an image;
- Match authentic classical poetry from our collection;
- Preview, lay out, and download a poetic poster in your browser;
- Diagnose faults and improve service reliability and response quality.
We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your images or technical information.
4. Image understanding and third-party processing
To understand an image, the site may send a compressed copy and the necessary prompt to a third-party artificial intelligence provider, depending on service availability.
Third-party providers process inputs under their own terms and privacy policies. They may use submitted content and generated results to provide, maintain, or improve their services and may perform necessary safety reviews. Do not upload images containing sensitive personal information, confidential information, or content you are not entitled to provide.
By submitting an image, you understand that an analysis copy must be transmitted to a third-party provider and that cross-border data transfer may occur. You can stop this processing by not uploading an image.
5. Retention and deletion
- We do not create user accounts or public work pages, and uploaded images are not written to our business database.
- The server processes images in memory during the request and does not retain them long-term for purposes beyond providing the service.
- Original-image preview and final poster creation happen primarily in your browser; you manage downloaded files yourself.
- Retention rules for third-party AI services and infrastructure logs are governed by the respective providers’ terms.
6. Cookies and local storage
The site currently does not use advertising cookies. To support essential functions and service security, your browser may use local storage for necessary technical information. You may clear site data in your browser settings, though doing so may affect some features.
7. Sharing and disclosure
Apart from AI providers needed for image understanding and hosting or network providers needed to operate the site, we do not actively sell or rent your information to other third parties. We may disclose relevant information when required by applicable law, legal process, or a competent authority, and only to the necessary extent.
8. Data security
We use reasonable safeguards including access controls, key isolation, hashed device identifiers, and encryption in transit. Internet transmission and electronic storage are never completely secure, so avoid uploading sensitive or private images, or images whose exposure would create unacceptable risk.
9. Minors
The site is not intended for anyone under 18. Minors should not upload images or use the site on their own. A guardian who becomes aware of such use may contact us as described below.
10. Your choices and contact
You may stop using the site, clear its browser data, or stop submitting images at any time. Do not submit images or other sensitive information on a public page.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The new version will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date; material changes will be highlighted on the site where reasonably possible.
